Dinosaur origins in South America?

The discovery of a dog-size T. rex ancestor may rewrite dinosaur evolutionary history, a new study says.

Measuring about 6 feet (180 centimeters) long--tail included--the 215-million-year-old Tawa hallae was found by hikers who noticed some small bits of bone at New Mexico's fossil-rich Ghost Ranch.

Triassic dinosaurs from Ghost Ranch have been well documented for decades, and well published in very detailed monograps for decades. There is not much new in Triassic dinosaurs from Ghost ranch.

The IMMEDIATE ancestors of T.rex lived in Asia and managed to get across via that route. This also has been well documented in the literature for decades.
