Patna Museum theft wrapup

The Nalanda police, on Sunday, succeeded in apprehending the mastermind of last year's high-profile theft into Patna Museum Umesh Sao from Asha Nagar area in Sohsarai village . . .

On November 18, 2006, a CBI team in conjunction with Nalanda and Nawada police, recovered 16 of the 18 ancient relics stolen from the Patna Museum following a raid in Barahaita village under Giriak police station in Nalanda district. The police earlier had arrested four persons in the case.
