Aztec altar found in Mexico City

Mexican archaeologists have found what may be the most significant Aztec ruin in decades, with the unearthing of an altar and a monolith in the busy heart of Mexico City, Mayor Alejandro Encinas said on Wednesday.

The 15th century altar, part of the Aztec empire's main temple, was uncovered last weekend near the city's main Zocalo square along with the 11-foot (3.5-m) stone slab, most of which is still buried under earth.

Blood stained altars of the demonic Aztecs.

Cortez and his 200 men did humanity a very big favor with the overwhelming assistance of the surrounding Indians who hated the blood thirsty Aztecs. Liberals desire to paint the Aztecs as a great people and civilization with their own personal form of worship(cannibalism). How sweet the libertine water run with human blood.

You know, the Christians have also been responsible for countless blood sacrifices. Using your silly form of logic, shouldn't humanity be done another favor?

There have been wars fought over matters of Christian belief and some wicked persecutions carried out in the name of the Church but to compare this with the activities of the Aztec Empire reveals a lack of knowledge where its dark religion is concerned.

Countless thousands upon thousands of victims of all ages were tortured, flayed alive and then killed in a most gruesome fashion to appease the Aztec's gods. Afterwards they would be eaten. Most of these victims were taken in raids made against neighbouring peoples.

It is worth remembering too that for every misguided bad deed done in the name of the Church many thousands of good kind deeds have been done that were inspired by the words of Jesus and his disciples. The God Jesus revealed is one of compassion and love.
