Antiquities OK in Lebanon?

So states the National Geographic Society; as Jim Davila notes, this would appear to contradict earlier reports of damage to the Temple of Bacchus in Baalbek. Baalbek is one of those must-eventually-see destinations for anyone of a classical bent, but unfortunately is also one of Hezbollah's main strongholds.
