Lost and found

PERCY Woodward is about to be reunited with his father's Boer War medal that he swapped when he was just six, thanks to the detective work of his daughter.

Mr Woodward, 87, could not believe his ears when his daughter Linda Masters, of Jubilee Road, Devizes, told him she had come across the medal at the Royal Gloucestershire Berkshire and Wiltshire Regimental Museum in Salisbury.

Now the museum will hand it back to him at a presentation on Monday.
