Insects and spiders on the move in London

About 28 million insects and spiders are on the move in London as a new £65.9m home is created for them.

It will take 18 weeks to move the 140,000 drawers holding the Natural History Museum's collection into temporary storage.

Gathered over the past 300 years, it includes extinct species like the large copper butterfly, but is mostly held in storage because of a lack of room.

The planned Darwin Centre will display 80% of the museum's collection by 2008.
