Taj Mahal to be repossessed?

The Waqf claims it has a legal title to the Taj because the Indian government granted it ownership of all Muslim tombs and graveyards in the state of Uttar Pradesh, where the Taj is located.

It does sound, though, as if UP relinquished ownership of the Taj Mahal by the general release of ownership of tombs and mosques. Perhaps they will register it as a national treasure or something.
