Bones in Bristol
Archaeologists have unearthed eight skeletons in the centre of Bristol. The remains, said to date from between the 12th and 14th centuries, were found during work to build the city's new £40 million bus station and magistrates' court building. . .More here.The find follows the discovery 10 years ago of around 100 skeletons dating from the 1100s just yards away.
A number of items from the remains of St James's Priory have been unearthed during the development of the site . . .
