Wildlife artist gored

British wildlife artist Simon Combes died after being gored by a buffalo in Kenya . . .

The acclaimed artist was famed for his close-up paintings of some of the world's most dangerous animals. . .

Mr Combes stressed the importance of getting close to his subjects, which included Bengal tigers and African buffalo similar to the one that killed him, and maintained he had no fear of dangerous animals.
