Stolen paintings recovered in Australia
A hoard of stolen paintings, including a work said to be by impressionist Paul Cezanne, has been recovered by police in Australia.From the BBC. Note that the authenticity of the "Cezanne" is questioned.Taken from art restorer John Opit in February, the paintings were found at a home in Queensland's Gold Coast.
Mr Opit said 25 paintings were stolen, including an 1873 Cezanne entitled Paul Cezanne's Son in a High Chair.
