Monowheels
Over at Patrick Crozier's Transport Blog [notation of ownership corrected], Brian Micklethwait has posted a picture of what looks like a V-8 monowheel (unicyle, rider sitting within a single large wheel).
I'd remembered seeing such beasts before, dating back to the 1930s, so after a bit of Googling I found Monowheels (And other vehicles with insufficient wheels). Check it out!
