Caxton Chaucer goes online

Caxton's Canterbury Tales, a landmark of early printing in Britain, is being placed online by the British Library. Read about it here; the volume is not online as of this writing, but should be accessible here, alongside such treasures as the Lindisfarne Gospels, the Sherborne Missal, the Qur'an of Sultan Baybars, and a Leonardo notebook.

UPDATE: Here is the Caxton link.

Thanks for the mention of the Caxton Chaucer being put on the web.

Both first and second editions of the Canterbury Tales published by Caxton in the 1470s/1480s are now available on the British Library website - www.bl.uk
