Blasting away in Kentucky
"Family fun at the machine-gun range": it's in today's WSJ.

Ah, David. How can I not comment on a Knob Creek article? Very welcome indeed to have the WSJ not trying to trash gunowners, too.
Years ago (maybe ten?) ABC covered it for the evening news, and was actually quite fair and dryly amusing. The high point was the usual talking-head quote from a psychiatrist, who seemed friendlier to the gun culture than usual-- followed by footage of the same psychiatrist firing his personally owned M-16 at the Knob Creek range.
Never have been to the semiannual machine gun event myself, being shipwrecked on the machine gun-unfriendly shores of distant California, but I would much like to go to "the Creek" at least once....

We should arrange a trip there some year. I could give the flamethrower a miss, but everything else sounds pretty interesting.
