Where every any vote counts

Record low turnout in Arkansas:

Carl Miner of Blytheville has gotten a very important lesson on why voters should go to the polls.

Miner was on Tuesday's ballot, unopposed for a school board seat in south Mississippi County. No one voted for him -- and the candidate didn't even cast a ballot for himself. Officials say Tuesday was the first time in Mississippi County an entire precinct didn't vote.
