18th-century burials found in Cape Town
News from South Africa:
A burial site with human remains dating back to the 1700s is being excavated in Green Point, Cape Town. Archaeologist expect the remains to shed some light on the early history of Cape Town and its people. . .The grave site was discovered during the demolition of a building. The informal burial site dates back more than 250 years to the days of the Dutch East India Company.
