Odescalchi collection of arms & armor on display

One of the most important collections of arms and armor in the world is finally (partially) visible. The 1200-piece Odescalchi collection, housed at the Museo di Palazzo Venezia in Rome, has not been on view for some 20 years due to lack of space, though pieces have occasionally been lent to exhibitions here and there over the years.
Now 114 pieces from the collection will be on exhibit at Palazzo Venezia between 19 December and 23 March 2003 under the title Belle e terribili.

For more, including pictures, see this article in La Repubblica (in Italian).
